Max Reed is an LA video produce, editor, photographer who prides himself as a creative thinker. He is passionate about the creative process and loves every aspect of ideating, planning and executing. He loves a challenge and is a quick thinking, solutions oriented team player who can lead the charge. Reed has created and sold his art works since childhood and continues to thrive with an entrepreneurial mindset.
He has worked as a Director of Photography and creative lead for a digital marketing firm for the last 6 years, focused in experiential marketing and production. During this time he worked as a senior motion graphic designer, videographer and editor with clients like Facebook, HBO, Discovery, Audi, Tiffany & Co., Under Armour, Beautiful Destinations, Diesel, Red Bull, BYLT Basics, World of Dance.
Max Reed was awarded the 2019 Golden Telly Best Multimedia Edit. In 2017 he was selected by CIC Miami to feature portraiture gallery. 2015 Adobe Photography Jam Best in Show and People’s Choice for his photographs of the Little Haiti community. Reed was also named Miami’s 2014 Photographer of the Year by RAW Artists Miami. In 2013, he received Best in Show, People’s Choice and Best Event Photographer by the Capture Coral Gables and Coral Gables Museum.
He is passionate about adventure and travel. As a result he has visited over 30 countries where he dives into diverse cultures around the world to hone the art of storytelling. As a documentarian he films cultural immersion and volunteer projects of aboriginals in Australia, Fijian island communities. He worked on community organization projects in rural villages of La Cuarta and Capa Rosa, Mexico. And worked on documentary projects in Camaguey, Cuba. As well as a humanitarian relief project in Cap-Haitien, Haiti.
Reed is a concept-driven artist who uses interdisciplinary training and resourcefulness to create his productions, motion design animations and creative campaigns.
Reed travels between Los Angeles, Miami and New York. He is available for assignments abroad.
